Free and Sustainable Drinking Water in Public Spaces - Aqua World Line

At Aqua World Line (AWL) we have built exactly that: a public hydration infrastructure, supported by CSR partnerships, that generates impact indicators in real time – easy to understand, easy to report, impossible to "cosmeticize".

The AWL public meter shows:
• Water supply: 928 L
• Reused drums: 1,854
• CO₂ avoided: 261.89 kg
• Plastic removed: 46.35 kg

What does this mean, translated into simple analytics (based on the figures above)
• ~0.50 L / fill (928 L / 1,854)
• ~25 g avoided plastic / filling (46.35 kg / 1,854)
• ~141 g CO₂ avoided / filling (261.89 kg / 1,854)

That's the beautiful part: impact is not a promise. It's a dashboard.

Why it matters for CSR and ESG

While European rules on sustainability reporting are evolving (and are even in the process of being simplified/adjusted), the direction remains clear: companies need data, not just stories.

Work is in full swing, and the stations will be operational soon. Once activated, they will be the first AMS units ever installed in a Romanian railway station, serving the tens of thousands of travelers who pass through Gara de Nord every day.

This project is part of our 2025–2026 expansion plan and shows that free, sustainable hydration can reach exactly where it’s needed most: high-traffic public spaces.
