Bill Proposal for Ensuring Free Access to Drinking Water in Public Spaces

Recent legislative proposals (the Legislative Proposal on facilitating the population’s access to water, registered under no. b546/2025, details here, and the Law amending G.O. 7/2023 on the quality of water intended for human consumption, registered under no. B758/2025, details here) require public institutions, healthcare units, educational institutions, and transport operators (metro, railway stations, bus stations, airports) to provide free drinking water through certified dispensers, addressing the current lack of hydration points and reducing plastic waste.
Aqua World Line is already in action and fully meets the requirements of this initiative: we install smart stations for filtered, chilled, and free drinking water in public spaces such as railway stations (e.g., recent cluster in Bucharest North Station), malls, or universities.
Our stations use advanced filtration systems (Elkay brand, internationally recognized for quality), ensure drinkability according to standards, with periodic analyses and complete water quality documentation – all at no cost to institutions, funded through responsible ads on integrated monitors.
We are the ready-to-go solution for quick and sustainable compliance with the new law. Contact: aquaworldline.com
